Terms of Business for Florists

Acceptance of terms:

By purchasing wholesale products from The Flower Hub at Pauntley, you agree to abide by the terms of business outlined below:
 

Eligibility:

Only florists showing a valid business documentation, by way of website or other that proves their status as a floral retailer are eligible to purchase wholesale flowers from The Flower Hub at Pauntley.

Registration:

Prior to making purchases, florists must register with The Flower Hub at Pauntley and provide all necessary information.

Order placement:

Orders must be placed within the designated ordering hours of The Flower Hub at Pauntley. This is from 8pm on Sunday of each week when the hub is open until Tuesday at 5pm, and then again at Midnight on Thursday until Saturday 5pm.

Payment:

Payment for wholesale flowers is due by BACS or credit/debit card at the time of purchase. 

An invoice including all bank details will be generated at the time of purchase.

The Flower Hub at Pauntley works with both small and large growers.   Some large growers may be VAT registered and VAT is added to the invoice if applicable.

The Flower Hub at Pauntley adds a 10% handling charge to the order, to a current maximum of £10 per order and  this will be shown on the invoice.

An order will not be fulfilled if it has not been paid for.  There are no credit terms.

Collection

All orders will be available for collection on Wednesday evenings from 6.30 pm to 7.15pm between 9.00 and 11am on Thursday mornings.

Quality Assurance:

While The Flower Hub at Pauntley strives to provide high-quality flowers, we cannot guarantee the freshness or condition of flowers once they leave the premises.  Florists are encouraged to inspect their purchases upon receipt.  We also cannot control the weather (sadly!) and so some flowers may have blown before picking.  Growers are likely to pick the best flowers they can for your order but if you are not happy, we need to see photographic evidence and a stem count of flowers not up to the A1 grade to ensure a refund.  This needs to be done within 12 hours of collection. 

Cancellation:

Orders cannot be cancelled or modified after 5pm on Tuesday or Saturday. 

Liability:

The Flower Hub at Pauntley shall not be liable for any damages, loss or injury arising from the purchase, use or transportation of wholesale flowers by florists.  Florists are responsible for ensuring the safe handling and transportation of their purchases and to keep them in a place suitable for flowers for their event or retail.  This is especially in heatwaves.  If you accept on collection or delivery we cannot be held responsible if they are kept on a hot studio or house. 

Modification of Terms:

The Flower Hub at Pauntley reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.  Registered florists will be notified of any changes via email.

Termination of registration:

The Flower Hub at Pauntley reserves the right to terminate the registration of any florist found to be in violation of these terms or engaging in fraudulent or unethical behaviour or if  no purchases are made within any six month period.
